how to turn voicemail off (Samsung Galaxy S2)

    Hi all
    Not sure if I am I am in the right section, but could someone tell me how to turn off my voicemail on a Samsung Galaxy S2.

    I had a message one day before I even new how to use the voicemail and have been stuck with it ever since. I want it gone.:mad:

    Please step by step instructions as have been an iphone user for 5 years and am still getting my head around android.:)

    Carrier needs to do it.

    I canned mine - I never use it. Asked TMO to remove service. They did.

    remove the voicemail apk if you do not neet it at all.
    Easiest way to do it is with titanium backup (need root), find voicemail/vtt-sprint, uninstall it.

    i recall being able to go thru the voicemail settings (in my case holding down 1) then going thru the options to switch off voicemail.
