Help How to 'un-forget' a wi-fi network

I started uni a couple of days ago and I tried to use their wi-fi network but I put in the wrong password. Then, because those details were saved it wouldn't connect so I chose to 'forget' the wi-fi network so I could start again with the correct details.

However, now, it doesn't find the network at all...

I've connected with my laptop and it works fine, so it's nothing wrong with the network itself. I've also tried restarting my phone (several times over the past few days) and it still doesn't find the network.

Forgetting shouldn't stop a network being visible. I suggest checking your settings to make sure you didn't accidentally block it instead. Look under the Advanced WiFi settings.

Forgetting a network doesn't affect whether the network is detected, only whether the credentials are remembered. I have done what you did on numerous occasions and it's never resulted in the inability to detect the network.

Have you tried scanning again? On my S4 I can do so by tapping menu and then scan.

Wow! it's just found it! So now, I've just filled in the correct details but after that it says that this network is not in range, even though it is because I have my laptop right next to my phone.
