Over the weekend I used the "TRUE PermaRoot and the ULTIMATE S=Off!!! Check this out even if you're rooted!!!" method.

I invoked the .gfree -f flag and was able to obtain perm root, s-off, and simulock.

I would like to reverse all the changes so I can make a NANDroid backup of the phone.

I did not perform the [Optional] Steps to flash engineering bootloader

My question is... Are all the step for the Procedure to Revert still valid?
I question step 5 which states:

Now run the "dd if=/where/your/part7backup-numbers.bin of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p7" and it should show the output:
    xxxx bytes in
    xxxxbytes out
xxxxxxxxxx copied in blah blah blah

because if you did not do the optional flash to the engineering bootloader, you would not have the file "mmcblk0p7"

    Help would be appreciated.

did you flash rom manger? because if you did you can just make a nandroid back up from recovery. Its quite easy. BTW how did you push the gfree files to data local? Thats the part i havent figured out yet. Im itching to root.
