Hi, I just got a galaxy s2 from virgin mobile (in canada). In kies, it read:
    PDA: KG2, phone: KG2/ CSC: KG2 (VMC)

I read somewhere that KG2 is 2.3.4. Is that correct?
However, on my phone settings, it is stated as 2.3.3.
How can I fix this? Is it fixable? Can I go from 2.3.3 to 2.3.4?
Also, Kies says that " This version of the device cannot be updated"

    thanks for the help.

yeah thats the one :D Kies will get it some time, depending on ur region.. the newest official one thats running 2.3.4 is KG5. so u could wait for that on Kies, or flash KG5 or KH3 (newest unofficial) via Odin. both do the same thing, doesnt erase any data etc. go for it :)

Depending on your area KG2 can be 2.3.3 so this is not a bug so there isn't really any fixing necessary lol. You will most likely receive the update for 2.3.4 for your phone very soon since samsung has already released it officially. You can either wait for the update or flash one via odin like the one FrenzyNinja posted above
