How to upload apps to market with App inventor?

Hello guys i have made my own app with App inventor but i can't upload it to the market i payed the 25$ so.. did that go to total waste?

Could some one who know how to fix this problem maybe help me or make a Youtube video like How to... so i can see how you do.. Please i know there is some way to upload it.

I didn't think App Inventor apps were allowed to be uploaded to the Market. Can't remember where I read that.

True the didn't whant them to be uploaded but there is a way to upload them and am asking if any one know the way..

I understand what you're asking. You wish to get around the user agreement you made when you began using App Inventor. I won't comment on that ethically but I believe Google is smart enough to be able to recognize an App Inventor app and disallow the upload. Based on that assumption you may be out of luck.

Why don't they want them uploaded? Does the app inventor really simplify the process? If so, I suspect that millions of apps would eventually flood the market if every Tom, Dick, and Harry is able to make one.

I read that they are going to enable uploading but i think it wont be til the beta is over

I don't know but I certainly hope so. It does feel kind of empty to have written an app you can only use yourself or share with friends.

Hopefully by then they'll have figured out how to reduce the size of the apps. Right now they're humongous.

On a side note, are you the author of the Smultron code editor app on the Mac? I use it daily and love it despite it not being actively maintained any longer. I never questioned why it's icon was a strawberry, but now that I see your avatar, I have to ask if you can shed light on the artwork?

Currently there are technical limitations to being able to upload an App Inventor app to the Andorid Market but we are actively evaluating the best way to integrate with the Market.

And yes, they did spell it incorrectly!

Where there ever an update to this thread? We've had an app inventor account since last summer however still have not used the product because we see no use of making an app there if we cannot upload it.
