This might be a stupid question..
But i dont have data and i wanna use the Google Maps..
The phone comes with GPS.. so im guessing i can just use the GPS..

    Does anyone know the settings?
Or is there a specific program?

when in a data/wifi area, browse the route abit, and it should cache the map.

All maps are downloaded when you need them. You can not download data via GPS.

You might be able to trick it into caching some parts of map as above but is not reliable. I believe navigation will sort some stuff upfront but still needs data to do that

Google Maps is a purely online app.
You can buy an offline nav system such as CoPilot if you want to access maps/navigation without data use. With that type of system you save the maps to the SD card up front (presumably you can do this via PC as with ovi maps on the nokias).
