Help how to view on computer..help

hey everyone i just got a samsung galaxy s from bell and i really like it alot.
the main issue i am having is how do i view my pictures and vids on the computer...i have the usb and phone connected to the comp but its not showing up when i go to my computer....
i mean the usb is connected....but someone help pls...

connect usb cable to pc
select mass storage if asked
go to status bar > tap "usb connected" > mount > wait 5 seconds

You need to install kies and windows mobile centre.

No need for windows mobile centre. I don't have it and it works fine.

Still. Might as well get the complete package. The firmware update requires the driver.
