I just associated my gmail with the phone and now it shows a bunch of my gmail contacts in between the phone/sim contacts. It's really a mess. Anyone has info how to prevent them from showing up ? I tried looking for similar option in gmail app but couldn't see anything.

    Regards

If you are on stock contacts...
press the menu button...and choose accounts...and from there disable google contacts :)

    OK resolved:

Found the option to disable displaying contacts from Contacts > Menu > More > Display Options
