My wife's name is “Seanette”. Not a terribly common name, so it's no surprise that the voice-to-text feature of my Motorola Triumph does not get it. Here are some of the guesses it makes, when I say her name… Is there any way that I can “Train” or otherwise enter my wife's name, and set things up so that it has a chance of correctly recognizing it?
I don't know about your phone but I can't train it on mine. The Droid 2 and Droid x could do it. You can see if you can put a nickname in her contact info and just use that.
