How turn off Note5 ? Not reboot, TURN OFF

Was playing VR game when phone overheated, now its giving me problems. Can only access camera and credit card page of samsung pay, any other time its just black screen. Pressing power button does not give me option to turn it off. I need to turn it off so i can try a hard factory reset, but do you think anywhere on that thing called the internet tells you how to POWER OFF ? no, everyone just describes how to reboot and then calls it "powering off".

So, anyone know how to turn off a NOTE5 when the power button does not work ? i need it to POWER OFF, i.e. stay shutdown.

OK so i was able to get to the reset menu from the camera screen via the sound down, power and home key combo. However, been sitting on the "download picture" for a while now. Is it hosed ?

May need the firmware re-flashing. Should be able to find what you need here.
