    Welcome to android Forums!

I am sure you've alread made extensive use of the information in LG Optimus M - Android Forums. Sometimes random freezes and reboots are the hardest thing to track down, especially when it's due to intermittent hardware problems. If it never happens at the same time or the same way, it most likely is the hardware.

Among other things, it could be a failing SD card or bad sectors on the SD card.

    Welcome to the AndroidForums, soulpatroler.

Yes, I echo lunatic59's sentiments--its very difficult to track-down such an intermittant issue.

If you are overclocking (you didn't mention that you are), that's an obvious possibility (i.e., too high of a clock rate).

You could also try removing (temporarily, of course) any apps that you are suspicious of to see if the freeze issues go away. A logcat might also reveal what the last reported operation was at the time of the freeze (especially if you can find a repeat occurrence).

Anyway, good luck and glad you signed-up with us here at AF.

    Cheers!
