Ok mine stinks, when my TB is connected to the Bluetooth in my truck the sound and call quality is terrible. All my phones have sounded very good and clear in the past. It sounds terribly low and choppy, and picks up every bit of noise. Callers say it sounds like I have all the Windows open! Forget about everything else, everything....This is a phone first and foremost, something like this should work flawlessly at the end if the day. Anyway, anyone else seeing issues like his!

Please only real answers guys, no I love my TB more then my children songs and dances! If that's the case, you need severe therapy..lol

I just bought a new bluetooth headset the other day and have had no issues. My wife and mother have both said I sound better on it than I do my phone. Not just the Thunderbolt but any phone I have had recently.

So far so good for me.

It works great with my Motorola Bluetooth Head Phones. I use it to listen to music, podcasts, and some voice calls.

I have a rav4 and it connects to the blue tooth without a problem. The sound quality is pretty loud and clear

same here. i have two bt headphones and one bt earpiece. all of them work great.

i think the op is specifically having an issue with how the bt in his car works with the phone. not sure any of this helps.

Yes, BZB is on point. It's specifically only happening with the built on Bluetooth that works with the truck. It's crystal clear with the Atrix, my blackberies, and my Fascinate. The TB is just not clear on it at all, I doubt it has anything to do with the Bluetooth itself.

What kind of truck? I have a Ford and Android phones don't seem to play nice with Sync. Very low incoming volume. It's much worse with HTC devices. If anyone has a fix I'd love to hear it!

2010 Mercedes, And I have had zero problems with it at all while using the Bluetooth...maybe its an HTC thing, I don't know. The Atrix is extremely loud and clear as is the Fascinate.

I had an incredible and a fascinate as well...the Sammy was better than the HTC devices but not stellar! I've read that HTC has a subpar BT stack. Hopefully they address the problem. There has to be a simple fix to bump up the incoming call volume.

Yup, my thoughts exactly. The Sammy was pretty good, not stellar, buy very good. The TB is just plain low...Yelling at my Lady x to speak up when I'm talking to her on it, however its not her fault, its HTC's..lol

My man Wolf, which one you get? I had some sick one that came with the Atrix as a bundle, a Jabra, really small, and carbon Fiber looking. Pretty cool, I'm debating just using something like that for hands free.

I currently have a Motorolla Droid and I am thinking about upgrading to a Thunderbolt. I have a '08 BMW 335i and BMW haven't tested the Thunderbolt with the in car bluetooth pairing. Can anyone that has a similar BMW year/model confirm or deny whether or not the Thunderbolt will pair.

    Thanks so much.

I'm not having any call quality issues, but music streaming through my car is pretty awful. Any loud rock song sounds distorted as hell.

Anyone know if there's a fix for that? I remember in my wild old WinMo 5.0 days with the PPC6700, you could download and install different bluetooth drivers (stacks?) to improve quality. That's got to be possible on android, doesn't it?

If you find anything like this....you'd be the man. I've been bugged as hell for a couple years dealing with it!
