I've been following these forums for a few months now and, since my first (and apparently last 
) NE2 is due in a couple of weeks I figured I'd register.
I'm coming from a workhorse of an Omnia i910. I never had any gripes with windows mobile. I think the only thing that mildly annoyed me was that there was very little development for its resolution, WQVGA. All in all, it did what I wanted it to do and yes, sometimes I did want it to freeze up. It was just before Windows Phone 7 was released and pictures and info were being spread that I decided to jump ship. I just didn't like the way things were heading with windows. So what was my next choice? Obviously Android!
It looks like I'll be going with the Droid X, though, if you had asked me a few weeks ago I'd have said Fascinate as I had no issues with my previous Samsungs. It's really just the whole Froyo issue that leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
So that's my story. I look forward to jumping headfirst into the world of Android.
