I'm thinking of getting the Commando for my son. I'd like to know how the battery is on this phone. I know how it is on my Incredible, just wondering if this is similar to most smart phones.

    Thanks,

    Rob

Well, I've had mine on for the last hmm 2 days 4 hours 36 mins and 5 seconds since the last charge says my phone. So I'd say its pretty good.

I am a moderate user. Used it all day yesterday.... Some text messages, some calls, playing with apps. I forgot to charge it, and this morning after 24 hours without charging, my battery was at 23 percent. Even with pretty heavy use, I get a full day.... 12-15 hours. No complaints.

I listened to Slacker radio all day today - about 9 hours - and I still had about 35% battery. It seems to last a bit better than the BB Bold I had before it. YMMV

    1800mah?

If it's real....should be a big improvement over the stock 1440mah.

The battery on my newly purchased (2 days ago) Commando shows 1460 mAh. Model # BTR771B.

I run Advanced Task Killer on mine which seems to help a lot. I get at least 18 hours out of it... I charge it every night, but not because I have to.
