I was just doing a test of vibrate mode on my HTC 10 in response to another members concern when I made this strange discovery.I just found out that if you have your phone connected to a Bluetooth speaker then turn your phones volume all the way down to vibrate you'll still here a ring through the Bluetooth speaker. The truly weird thing about this is that it's just a regular ringing sound not the ringtone I have set on my phone. As a matter of fact that just ringing option is nowhere in the list of ringtones I can apply to this phone. Does anyone know where I can download a just plain old fashioned ringing phone ringtone and has anyone else experienced this?

Even if I have the device set on Vibrate, it will ring the car when connected to Bluetooth in the car.

I believe the ringtone is in the Bluetooth speaker itself. Happens with several speakers I have. M8.

My car has separate options for ringtone and volume. Not sure if *all* bluetooth speakers would/do. But the answer lies in the bluetooth device.
