HTC Desire Contract Question

    I'm looking to get the HTC Desire as possibly my first android phone so it seems that I should try and get something at the top of the market . I saw a link on one of the threads here relating to the phone on contract ;

    I have never had a contract so I am a little confused as to what the line rental cost is . Is the line rental cost added on top of the "

    Thanks , I misread your reply ... That sounds like a great deal . I'll just wait for a review before ordering but it looks like I may have found my first android and contract phone :)

    Line rental is your connection and any free minutes or texts etc they include.

    A 24 month contract is a long tie in, and not that much cheaper than an 18 month.

    Work out x months for a sim only deal and buying the phone (say @
