Support HTC Desire Despair

    went to use camera yesterday, phone locked up.....Removed battery and default ringer altered....camera still not working ...SD file permissions !!!!.......changed SD card, still camera locking up phone..... uninstalled all downloaded apps, did factory reset, formatted SD card .....gradually rebuilding apps.... still no camera.....now get focus area but no shutter ... been delighted with phone until yesterdays meltdown .....lost all my contacts as despite many hours today i cannot sync to outlook, days work tomorrow doing them one by one ... all whlist my partner gloats with her iphone ..." i told u to get an iphone " .....uugghhh

    I think you need to take it back to the phone shop that you got it from?

    Yeh i'd agree that there is something seriously wrong with the phone. I've had my Desire for a week or so now and not had one lock up, force close or anything!

    You got a defective phone my friend. Sounds like a hardware issue with a bad camera. Swap back at the store.

    Definitely sounds hardware related.
