Both me and my GF have the same phones HTC Desire on T-Mobile, everything was fine untill i worked out i was not getting conected to Wi-Fi any more. i checked with hers and it was fine (Conected). after messing around with it for a while i gave up.
Then it dawned on me, mine was fine untill i got the 2.2 up-grade, low and behold 2 days later her phone up-dated too, now she has lost Wi-Fi.
It looks like its going to conect then drops conection or gets stuck at "Obtaining IP address" then drops conection.
T-mobile are about as much use as a wet fish. So, any of you any ideas?

    Kind regards

    Phil.

    Moved to the Desire forum.

Try going in to your wifi settings and deleting any known networks. On my phone (HTC Eris) to do that you long press on the network name and tell it to 'forget'. Then tell it to attach to whichever network is near you, it should at that point ask you for the network key (if there is one).

Did that already, re-booted the router, re-booted the phone, re-moved the battery. re-typed in the key. NOTHING
