HTC Desire wont send pictures

I have a htc desire on MTS provider from canada. When i take a picture and load it on to my message (text) to my friends and send it, they don't receive it. it says i have sent the picture. I have talked to my provider and they say i should be able to send them. Is there any settings in the phone that i need to change? Would be nice if someone could send me some info on how to do it. thanks for any advice.

Does your friend have MMS Set up too?

MMS won't send images over a certain size, is your messaging app reducing them?

Also some recipients of MMS get a link to a web display of the image, or have to log on to a web page to view them. Worth checking that's not the case with your friend.

Finally, MMS needs its own APN. Is that set-up correctly on your phone?

If none of those solve it, I'm stuck, sorry.

In message settings, scroll to bottom and set max message size to 300kb, see if that helps.

Basically this. You need to check your apn settings first.
