Looks like they pretty much have the same specs, but I still plan on switching to Sprint from Verizon because it won't be 4G and I think HTC has a better reputation than Motorola phones.

    Thoughts?

I wonder if it's just a TFT or other type of screen, seems nifty but very similar to the EVO, except the EVO of course has 4G and cheaper Sprint plans.

It sure would be nice to have 16gb internal space though, but oh well.

I wouldn't want to speculate too much on that device yet because I've seen one report that says the screen is 4.1 inch and the processor is a TI OMAP 3630 processor (720 ARM Cortex A8) and has 8GB internal storage, and another that says it's a 4.3 inch screen with a 1Ghz Snapdragon processor with 16 GB storage. The problem is we just don't know enough about it yet. Plus that screen doesn't look like the Blur I've seen on the Cliq and Backflip.

Yeah I think the Evo looks WAY slicker and I have had mediocre experiences with Moto phones in the past.

Would never buy a Motorola device. I have no idea how they have continued to stay in business with the junk they make!

I've waited over 2 months for an Evo, not going to waste my time waiting for another nearly similar phone when the day of reckoning is nearly upon us.

I'm pretty sure the Omap 720mhz processor is confirmed as is the TFT screen. I think the Omap processors are still a part of Motorola's deal from '07 to use TI processors in their smartphones in exchange for very favorable pricing on the chipsets.
