Root htc evo 4g backup

    i want to backup my evo with its current settings, but i dont really know the best way to go about doing it. any suggestions?

    also, is this the same as a nandroid backup?

    are you rooted?
    if so go to recovery (power off then press and hold power+vol down. if you are on gingerbread 2.3.3 then you have to go into settings/applications and uncheck fastboot), and select "backup and restore" and make a nandroid backup. please read http://androidforums.com/evo-4g-all-things-root/194918-rooting-dummies.html guide. it has an after rooting section that has a ton of info that you should know.

    a nandroid backup is your best bet, it'll make a copy of your entire phone, just the way it is now...
