I purchased an Anker extended battery, and with moderate / heavy use I am getting about
1 - 3/4 days with about 20 % left.

Is it the 1900?
I would like to upgrade my batt as well, but the only ones I can find that fit the stock cover only go to 1900

I think stock is 1750, I can't imagine 150 mah would really be worth it

I just bought the 1900 Anker due to positive feedback it has on this forum. Hopefully it won't disappoint. That is the only negative I have about this phone, poor battery life even with root and battery saving apps.

Yes, it is the 1900, and yes it does make a difference. I was having to charge my phone at least once during the day, and again overnight. Now, I get about 1 to 1-1/2 days.

I am currently stock with all the wonderful bloatwere that comes on it, and if I can get 1 to 1-1/2 days, I would imagine you will get alot better.

I did the same thing, I should get it tomorrow. I hope it helps, I have only had my phone 2 days and I already notice the poor battery life.

Sadly it seems to be the nature of the beast, 4+ inch screens and multiple cores just doesn't equate to long battery life especially if coming from a feature phone. My Triumph wasn't much better and that was only a single core. I'm a heavy user and even with Juice Defender I have to pop in a spare before the day is over, if I'm going out for the day and don't want to be bothered I'll increase the bulk but make it through the whole day by using a 3500 Mah extended. Luckily we at least have the option of popping in a spare. :p

I also bought the 1900 anker batteries (2 pack with charger), and am very pleased with them so far

I haven't timed how long they last, but they 'feel' like they last quite a bit longer than the OEM battery. I'd say that for active users, two spares are 'a must.'

The Evo V is ridiculously power hungry (esp. compared to the wife's samsung reverb). I cycle through all 3 EVO batteries regularly, which was a shock. On my old LG Optimus, I only used the spare battery for emergencies or while on the road.

I bought my ankers from laptopmate on amazon and they were shipped crazy fast (had them in hand 3 calendar days after placing the order).
