Hi, I'm new to the forum, but have used the forum since I got my Sprint Hero a year and a half ago. A great resource and group!
Below is my problem. And then after that, you will find Android's response. Any help you can give would be much appreciated.
HTC Hero OS 2.32.651.2 on Sprint.
My exchange server account got migrated to a new owner, Sherweb. Prior to this event, my phone worked great with exchange. Now, no matter what I do, I can't get it to work. It will verify account, then when I go to finish setup it processes for awhile and then get the error, could not set-up the account.
In many calls to Sherweb, they were able to set-up my account on their android phones that had OS 2.2. The one difference we could find, on their 2.2 the domain and username are on 1 field and on my 2.3 they are separate fields.
I downloaded Touchdown and it could sync fine. I really don't like Touchdown and want my exchange server via the OS to work. Help!

This is HTC's Email/Exchange application, not the AOSP one which we support; you should contact HTC for information about this.
