Today I updated my HTC Hero (Orange) to 2.73.61.66 from my previous version (2.73.61.5). I got this ROM from the Orange site.
The problem I am facing is that once I restart it and slide down the lock screen, it just shows me the HTC logo. It's very irritating as I can even receive phone calls and SMS (for SMS, I can just see the preview in the lock screen).
So far I re-installed the new and previous firmware a couple of times each, but the problem remains. I have also tried a hard reset and that has also not helped.
I will highly appreciate any help in this regard as you can imagine how frustrating this is - I love my Hero!
