Hey guys I wonder if you could help me. Every time I'm playing a video (mainly avi) on my htc incredible s, it starts lagging and it is out of sync. It's not only my stock video player, I downloaded another video application (Soul) which does the same. I am just too lazy to start converting files so I would need a more general and permanent solution.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks.

Is this on all video (AVI) files? That symptom is usually a problem with the video rather than the player. i.e. audio encoded as MP3 using VBR (Variable Bit Rate) instead of CBR (Constant Bit Rate)

I use the MoboPlayer App and I've had no issues with my video files (AVI, MOV and MP4) it even gave a very good attempt at a very high bit rate MKV file.

Use MoboPlayer. That's the best player I've used on the Incredible S.

Thanks for all your help. I've tried a lot of players including mobo, and finally hit upon one called arcMedia which is simply perfect for me.

    Thanks again!

    Cheers
