I'm a complete n00b with Android, but I've had experience jailbreaking before so I decided to root my phone with Hack Ace Kit...unfortunently, once the root was completed, I turn on the phone and everytime it shows the HTC logo and fades to black...now when I go on Ace Hack Kit the program isn't recognizing it and is just saying that I need to enable USB Debugging and stuff, which I can't because I can't access the phone itself. When I asked someone else about it, I was told it was rooted, but I don't want to give up on it right away...

If you could put this in simpler terms, that'd be great, because I'm having slight trouble with understanding some of the other threads in here. And it's on 2.3.3, as well.

    Thanks in advance everyone

You can try a hard reset.

    1. Power off the device.
    2. Press and hold the Volume Down and the Power Button until you see the HTC logo, followed by white screen with text and a few menu options.
    3. Press the Volume Down button to scroll down till you highlight

Your phone is not bricked. A link to the solution for this exact issue was just posted in another thread yesterday. Did you go try that at all? The instructions are pretty straight forward. I don't see how they could be made any simpler.

The instructions are part of the EFFIN manual that you download with the hack kit.

I've never used the Ace Hack Kit, but if that's the problem you're having you might want to check out all the information about it on XDA. [TOOL] Advanced ACE Hack Kit (13012012) - xda-developers They do cover this problem in the "Effen Manual" (Yeah, that's what the dev calls it. Both clever and sardonic) which is included with the kit.
