Root HTC Legend LED Flashlight App

    Has anyone come across or can give me a direction to an App that uses the Legends Flashlight as a torch!:eek: Please dont comment that it may not be good for the phone because I know and I dont want any white screen apps because theres loads!!!!:D

    Not 100% sure about this, but try "Shake FlashLight".

    I had looked around for similar LEDs apps before but submitted to the fact that almost all just set brightness of a white screen to 100%.

    You could always just record a video - on mine when it's dark the LED light is on permanently during recording...

    No sorry but both methods don't work for me but thanks for trying, anyone else with any ideas?

    Lamppu (LED Torch) works on rooted phones.

    Hmm thanks for that but I dont want to root my phone :/, ok, any apps for NON-root Legend thanks :)

    No, what im looking for is an app that will keep the LED light on for longer, its not that complex...

    Yes I too have been on the lookout for LED flashlight I had a nice one on my Galaxy i7500 called glowing pear though that and others I've tried don't work!

    Still no apps that work the Legend LED?

    No, not for un-rooted phones.

    And, from what I understand, there won't be for a while, seeing as how the OS doesn't allow it.

    HTC Wildfire has this built in...just means that rooting is not required and the OS does support it

    Not really, just that htc made it available on a lower level for their built-in app.widget/whatever.

    I was on SAME EXACT problem... ALL led torches will NOT work if your phone is not rooted..

    I know I'm a bit late contributing here... but there is no way to do this without rooting except getting Androot which is a one click root app, really simple and takes a few seconds but it doesn't root fully. then get any torch app you like and it should work :)
