I have a HTC One M7 that was previously a contract phone from EE, the contracted ended a while ago and I want to use a 'Three' pay and go SIM in it. I have got an unlock code to change the phone to Three, but I dont know where to use it, and if I try to select '3' in the phone settings it wont work...

I think it should request the unlock code when you insert the other network's SIM. Have you actually tried using the 3 SIM with it yet?

Yes I have done, that's what the lock code instructions said would happen but nothing popped up when I started the phone.

Its fine the problem is sorted, turns out the SIM wasn't activated... they failed to tell me it would need activating during the live chat... cheers anyway.
