    Hello dear forum..
I wish I could have joined because of some other reason, but it's driving me insane!

I recently got my HTC One X (Great smartphone fur sure!!)
But I ran into a rather annoying issue about yesterday.
I was listening to my music in school without any problem.
But then the song changed and since then, the Audio is having a big issue.
It's like the headphones were damaged, and the audio sounds teared and not all sounds are played as they should be!...
I tried disabling Beat Audio, didn't help either.
I put them into my older Smartphone which I also used to listen to music and they worked perfectly there.

I am left without any clue on what may have caused this to happen.
(BTW happened in the App MixZing.. I tried to uninstall the app, but that has not helped in any way.)
The problem persists everywhere, in YouTube,Radio,Games and Music.

But when I unplug the Headphones everything at least "sounds" normal.

I hope anybody got a clue to what happened.
I don't want to reset my smartphone to factory settings, but I will use this as a last resort if nothing else helps.

Looking forward to your suggestions and/or ideas

Welcome to AF Nickel, sorry you appear to be having issues.

You've tried the headphones in another phone, but have you tried other headphones in the One X? Do they behave the same?

The one's that shipped with the HTC seem to play sound normal without any flaws.

    It's realy strange.
I tested them on my PC as well and they seem to have the same issue there..
But why do they work on my older Samsung Galaxy I7500?
