Help HTC One X no keyboard

Recently upgraded to the htc one x, had no problems until now.
The keyboard was working fine, then the phone ran out of battery. Now, fully charged the keyboard has completely disappeared

I have just seen on a google search that someone fixed this by doing this...

"I just had this problem and I was able to fix it by going to Settings > Apps > All> HTC Sense Input and then clearing the cache."

Or failing that, install another keyboard from the Market and see if that works, and if it does whether you can switch back to the HTC one.
