    hi all,

new time user from iphone to htc ONE x

wondering if anyone else experiences a lag with notifcations for eg. gmail and facebook, and sometimes having to manually refresh/check for new emails...

im so used to push notifictions where they are near instant. i have done the usual things like checking settings etc, this is my 2nd handset too as first was replaced so it happened on that one aswell...

any advise/tips/ideas why this might be the case

    Software version 1.28.980.10

    cheers in advanc.

    Welcome to AF! :)

Are you signed in to Gmail on any other devices? I've found if I'm signed in on my laptop etc, notifications tend to appear there first.

I think gmail had an issue in the last few days.
So far today my gmail notifications are instant.
I will wait few days before I blame the phone.

Is any experiencing any problems sharing photos to fb or via HTC sense?
Since I bought my unbranded one x I have been unable to share photos to fb.
If anyone have a clue please comment.

One thing I noticed in my exchange mail is that there is a "peak" time setting. Somehow it was set automatically and when you are on an "off peak" time, the sync is every 2 hours. I reset that to "Push" and now I get all my emails all the time.
