    Hey guys.

So basically I plan on getting an HTC phone, and I'm down to either the wildfire or desire.

The wildfire, because it is smaller and much cheaper.

The desire, because it is acclaimed to be one of (if not the best) smartphone out there.

I was wondering, what is the cheapest price a sim free desire would go for? Possibly from eBay or somewhere similar. Most times it's about 250 or so, but what is the cheapest price do you guys suppose you could get one for?

    Thanks :D!

P.S. If i don't get a desire, how would the wildfire compare to it?

You could look for a really banged up one for like 175-200, but I wouldnt recommend that...250 sounds like a good price though. Better than full retail from a carrier.

    LoL haha :]

$449 is actually an amazing price for how good this phone is. All of the other good Android phones are twice that price. Even the HD2 with windows mobile 6.5 is selling for $800...and the Desire with Android kills that setup.

Yeah :) well most of the phones for sale are just unwanted upgrades, from possible technophobes so i may be able to haggle :D

also most wildfires are actually about $245 which is great, although it feels as if I'd be missing out on a lot compared to the desire :\
