HTC has just put four free widgets on Market. These are for Hero and Eris only – naturally Sense UI equipped devices.* I guess this answers our question from yesterday!Dice: Tap the dice first, and then simply shake (do not throw!) your phone to “throw” the dice. This widget is only for HTC [...]

They're OK I guess. I think I'm only going to be using the battery widget though. The history one never displayed any information.

It would be nice to have these available on other handsets like my HTC Magic [IMG]

Nice to see HTC taking the plunge, but these are at best pointles gimmicks (except mayby the battery one). I think these are just testers, I got a feeling were gonna be seeing some pretty cool widgets soon.

As an HTC myTouch user, I'm unsure how to take this. Have they just decided to forget about their other HTC-made android phones (not to mention every other android phone)? Or, as someone mentioned, are they just using these as a test bed before they release some really good apps for all Android users?

I'll just give them the benefit of the doubt and assume the latter. But if HTC starts releasing apps only made for phones with the Sense UI, I'm sure a lot of other android users won't be happy.

Battery is pretty good... there is another app on the market, very similar to that though... You can change the colors and everything...

Dice... well, the dice are loaded... I rolled ten times, and got 7 all but one of them... maybe I should skip out of work and go shoot craps?!?!

The rest of them I didn't see yet. Sounded lame for me.

Both are being deleted. due to non use on open home.

    CDMA Hero.
