Help HTC Sensation Bluetooth range

My Sensation bluetooth range is about 3 feet. On my 3G Slide and all other previous phones it was the expected 30 feet.

Heck, I can't even have my phone in my pocket or on a table beside me and have bluetooth work.

Is it a bad bluetooth radio or is this a general problem.

my sensation has the same issue. i even tested my bluetooth with my Q2 by going in the basement, upstairs in my bedrooms, every room in my house and it breaks. The kicker is i carry my phone with me and the bluetooth connection breaks!!! crazy isn't it?

Mine works fine...Bose BT headset, and US version of Sensation. I can even "voice dial" from two rooms away (approximately 25ft.)

In thinking about it, I realize I am using a soft sided case on the Sensation.

I will try it without a case and report back. I suppose it could be some extension of the "death grip" problem.

It does seem to be slightly better without the case.

I use a soft case on mine also and have been able to get more than three feet. It's tougher when it is through walls though.

Have you try different BTH device?

im using nokia BTH5 headset and its works for my sense hehehe
