Hello, recently my HTC Sensation made a high pitch sound as I was receiving a call and it turned off completely. Now it won't charge or turn on. I replaced the battery, but that didn't help. I also tried the hard reboot (volume down button and power button) and got nothing. I'm relatively new to the Android OS so I'm not too familiar with it but I'm pretty sure it's an internal issue and not a problem with the charger or the battery. I've had the phone a little over a year so the warranty has ended. Could there be a problem with the motherboard or something else internally?

Where do you live? I understand that HTC's have a 2 year warranty in the UK. And even if not then you still have consumer rights against whoever you bought it from. Goods still have to be of suitable quality, and it becoming completely dead in just over a year would suggest it is not. However if you live outside of the UK ignore all that, because it may not apply.
