I have been having a problem playing video on the htc sensation does any one know which is the best video format for this phone ?
And is anybody else having problems with videos playing and then the sound stopping after a couple of minutes.
I would also like to know if it is possible to use street view when you are using the google sat nav app, I've seen a street view image appear when I have reached a destination but I was wondering if the street view feature could be on the screen continuously as you are driving along. Thanks.

I don't believe it's possible for Google Navigation to use street map all the time, it wouldn't be possible to download the images quickly enough.

Thanks for the answer, i've been looking around googles site and it looks like you are right , I think I got confused by the video they use which shows street view images of turns on your route , I thought this was a street view of your whole journey.

    Are you playing xvid's?

I had this problem with the original OS but an OTA update seemed to sort this out. MP4's were ok though.

The problem seemed to be when using Hardware decompression. If you use software then the problem goes away. But then the video is blocky.

I too am having great problems with what should be a simple task!

All i want to do is transfer a video from my PC to my HTC Sensation (say an episode of The Simpsons)....

Have sent the file to the HTC but it doesn't play on the device. It's an .avi file so don't see what the problem is... Seems like i have to download specialised video converter software!

    Would appreciate some help...
