HTC Sense skin

I've had an Eris for about 6 months now and I immediately rooted it and started playing with my own skins. Currently I'm running LauncherPRO and I love it. So I'm completely unfamiliar with SenseUI, can I just put LauncherPRO right over the top and never think about that fugly clock widget?
Also how sturdy are we thinking this sweet kickstand will be? Definitely don't need it breaking off on me an ruining the sexy.

Yes, you can install launcher pro without rooting. It's a home replacement, so unless you root sense will still be up and running on the phone, but launcher pro will be what you see.
