Its not a fix but it might ease the pain as we wait for these idiots to push out a fix for those of us that trusted the "update".
I called VZ today and pitched a fit and they told me they were crediting my account with one month free for access charges.
So, until this is fixed, hit them where it hurts, maybe a few thousand off their revenue will make them pay more attention to the updates they put out.

I got a month free and talked them into giving me a new phone after 2 months of the thunderbolt issues. My wife just couldn't handle the resets and data losses anymore.

So they didn't offer a way to roll back the update?

Wouldn't that require another update? I don't think even OTA would be removed after a factory reset.

If you trust the update and this is what you get, do you trust a roll back to only roll back the update? With the way OTA is an in place upgrade rather than a /data wipe, I'd think making a correct update is easier than rolling back. But by now, the update fixes are rolled into the GB upgrade.

I'm gonna walk into a VZW store and start a war in front of all of the other customers. I may even jump up and down ranting like a 5 year old kid. I want to see what I can get out of it.

I've BARELY had any issues, maybe at BEST once a week my phone reboots for some reason, or every once in a while I have to reset to pick up the 3g connection, but thats IT. I mean, is this is a high problem, or did I finally get a good piece of luck?

I recently upgraded my firmware as well, and I NEVER once had a problem with the reboots, and now after updating, it's reset itsself twice today, and a couple times last week. So there's no apparent fix for the phone reboots?
