Coud I put earbuds into the HTC Thunderbolt to listen to music? If not, are there other 4G Smartphones from Verizon that have a place to put earbuds in?

Most modern smart phones come with a headphone jack if that's what you mean? I presume the Thunderbolt will be no different.

Is there a way to shut off the tone on the volume key? To have volume up/ down without the sound? Thanks!

I think the tone you are talking about only happens when you are adjusting the ringer volume. It doesn't make that sound when you are listening to music.

Correct. Is there a way to shut that off?
