General HTC Thunderbolt rooted wireless tethering

    Anyone know if it is a good chance we can get this on this phone? That is all I need.
    BTW. I am in the LTE area. If I can tether my laptop to this phone and I will get LTE speed on my laptop?

    you will prob be able to tether but verizon may charge you overages if you have over 5gb of data

    Definitely. You'll even be able to do this if you don't root - it may just cost ya a bit more.

    Also, from what I understood, there will not be data caps initially but they may reevaluate this further down the road.

    In time, there will be a rooted/tethering solution. Give it a short time after official launch.

    Considering the RUU has been leaked I am sure the devs are hard at work on building a nice GB ROM in time for the device to be launched.
