Htc Wildfire battery backup problem

    This is sreekanth, two days back i purchased brand new HTC wildfire, the battery back up of it is less than a day (24 hrs) even though phone is in idle. Can anyone give me the solution for it.

    Though we encourage users to find the correct sections to ask questions because it will only help them get better/quicker answers that does not mean we will turn ANYONE away for asking in the wrong section. There are plenty of ways to troubleshot your possible issue. Seeing that you have already posted in the wildfire section i would wait and see what kinds of responses you get there.

    Hi,

    Use the widgets to turn everything off, mobile internet, wifi, bluetooth even gprs. I tried it and managed to get 4 days out of a single charge with casual use. (it does kind of defeat the object of having an android though...

    Try some stuff from the android market like power save mode enabler, android booster etc.

    Use them on mine and works okay.
