    Hi,

    Just bought this phone and I'm having the problem of recogising the phone on PC as shown in the image

    Can anyone help please with what I need to do?

    It's usually about driver support, htclee.

    I'd do a search for HTC Wildfire drivers for your Windows version (Vista, XP, 7?), download them, then use that wizard again, pointing it to where you put the drivers.

    I've just tried that mate after finding a link to a driver on another forum. Did what was instructed like what you've said and it didn't find the driver in the folder!:thinking:

    Done it.

    Deleted anything installed from original plug in, rebooted PC and phone, disconnected from internet, reinstalled HTC Sync and now I can access removable drive but not connect to HTC Sync. No bothered about Sync, just for dropping music on etc.
