HTCSync and Windows 7

I'm having problems syncing Windows Contacts (on Windows 7). It detects the phone, but whenever I use HTCSync I get "Synchronisation Failure". I'm not sure where to look for details of what failed or why.

What have you set it to sync with? Outlook?

Just the Windows Contacts, not Outlook or any email client
