I upgraded my Huawei Ascend to Android OS 2.2. I heard that it is a lot more difficult to root the phone with this OS so, I was just wondering if anyone can post up a way to do it on this phone. I've gone through the forums and am getting frustrated with seeing all kinds of different ways and the Titanium Backup since I was told to do Gingerbreak or something. I don't know how to do this... Where to go, and all that. Can someone please post where to get this and what I can delete on this OS. Thanks so much!

I can't download gingerbreak or z4root... Everytime it installs it says there is trouble parsing the package.

I'm using titanium backup and some of the apps can't be removed because the apk file can't be found. What do I do?
