Huawei U8300 questions

Hi guys, I have a Huawei U8300 and I just have a few questions.

1. Does this have a home screen lock feature? So others Connot get into my phone without knowing the password or shape?

2. Is there updates for this phone? Currently I'm running android 2.2 but is there any updates?

3. How do you update android software?
