Hello, I am a meteorologist down in southern florida and have been wondering why isn't there a hurricane tracking app for android similar to the one from kitty code.Ive used weather bug and a few other ones but there not for tracking tropical cyclones.

Heres a link to the hurricane tracking app from kitty code...Question might this work on the mytouch3g or is this only for iphones. Hopefully someone eventually will go ahead and put an app together.

    thanks so much

The weather app My-Cast tracks hurricanes, including tracking, text and satellite view. My in-laws live in Florida and it's what I use to keep up with hurricanes.

It is a good idea for development though. I know there is an earthquake app currently on Android that alerts and shows epicenter of earthquake overlapping GoogleMaps.

Hurricane Hub is a good, comprehensive app for hurricane news, tracking, information and networking.
