My husband and I both have Samsung Precedent model SCH-M828C from Straight Talk purchased at Walmart. Texting from his phone to my phone keeps giving error that need to use 10 digits. It is a 10 digit number. I have deleted and reentered my contact information but does not send. This issue has been going on for about 2 months and had worked fine before this.

You ARE putting in all 10 digits?

Can you voice call him hand-dialing those same digits? (It's the same thing to the system whether it's text or voice so that shouldn't work either.)

There may be something wrong with the setup of your account. Get on Facebook (seriously) and go to Straight Talk's page. Post a request for help with texts that won't go through. ST keeps some of their best techs on their FB page. A few minutes, a few button pushes on their part, and they can probably straighten it out.
