The .6 update that is meant to fix the memory card problem pops up on my phone like twice a day.

If I download it AND install it, it doesn't take. The same FOTA update is detected again the next day, and the next day, and the next.

I don't have any memory card issues. But I'm wondering how to make my rooted phone accept FOTA updates.

I'm a n00b. Is this just a limitation of rooted phones? I rooted using this method: How to Root Your HTC Evo 4G! | HTC Evo 4G Hacks!

    I used this file: Supersonic_1.32.651.1_rooted.zip

Most of the newer roms have the OTA update built right in. I would try another rom.

If I try another ROM, I have to re-arrange my home screens and all that, right? It's kind of like bringing it back to factory settings in a way, isn't it?

    I'm very lazy.
