Okay, so I rooted my LG-D500 and deleted what seemed to be bloatware. It turns out that some of it was essential stuff. I can no longer set custom sounds for ringtones or notifications. All I get is a message saying "No applications can perform this action. Enable built-in application?" when I try to set them. Is there a way to restore the phone to factory and regain the lost files?

You'll need to reflash the stock firmware. A reset won't bring back deleted system files, unfortunately.
