I cannot find the file "/system/fonts" when using es file explorer, why is that?

I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 android version 4.3.
I have been trying to download emoji's to my stock keyboard and to do that I have to copy a certain file into my "system/font" file but I don't see them anywhere. Even when I show my hidden files I still don't know where that "system" file is located. Please help!

With hidden files not showing and root access off I can see that folder.

Select "device" then system then fonts
